Instrumentation housing, also known as thermocouple heads have the primary function to protect the instrumentation (temperature sensor) from external influences. Environmental factors such as moisture, dust, physical damage and chemical exposure that could affect the accuracy or damage the instrument.
Most common used connection heads are the AA, BA, BUS and BUSH. The BUSH is designed to mount a digital transmitter in the cover.
Aluminum heads are standard silver gray painted, painting can be customized in RAL colors.
